The swiftly rising singer-songwriter spoke with Rollacoaster about her journey so far and her musical vision for the future.

At only 18 years old, ELIZZA relocated to London to chase the lifelong ambition of becoming a professional musician, singer and songwriter. Pushing a unique sound that she’s hesitant to categorise – “not just pop and not just R&B” – she describes her music as “dreamy, poetic, and honest”, bringing together forward-thinking pop production and influences from electronica with vocal talents that promise global success. Isabel Carr in Rollacoaster magazine observed that: “the elasticity of a career in its nascent stages affords her an elusive sound […] which keeps evolving as she draws fresh inspiration from artists in her orbit.” In late 2019, ELIZZA released “Can’t Quit”, a hooky single that hinged lyrically on a dramatic love story and themes of romantic dependency. The singer’s latest track, “Want To Keep”, was released on Valentine’s Day.
