Kelly Crump strives to spread awareness of the illness and counsel patients on how to get well and carry on with their lives following diagnosis and treatment. She also teaches loved ones how to support a cancer patient’s friends and family. Her work has a wide range of positive effects on people, from inspiring them to get up and exercise to boosting their self-esteem after surgery. Crump has over 24,000 Instagram followers, participates in 100-kilometer charity walks and half-marathons, and is the first woman with active cancer and a mastectomy scar to model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
