Lyrical Chris featured in Notion's Undiscovered Playlist | MN2S

Rising hip-hop artist and MN2S PR client Lyrical Chris has been spotlighted in Notion’s weekly roundup of fresh new music.

Hip-hop talent Lyrical Chris has been featured in a round-up of hot new music from Notion. Described as “our pick of the best new music from the world’s most exciting emerging musicians”, Notion’s Undiscovered Playlist is a weekly selection of boundary-pushing tracks from rising artists on the platform’s radar. Spotlighting Lyrical Chris’s song 5D Rap Rules, Notion wrote: “‘5D Rap Rules’ by Lyrical Chris is our pick from the steezy rapper’s latest hip-hop odyssey, Prewrite. Patiently waiting for his moment, on the track, he confesses that his time is now, as his flow and beat selection align to engineer a breezy boom-bap jam.”

Lyrical Chris is a rising hip-hop artist pioneering a new genre called “5D Rap” with his debut album Prewrite, released on September 5, 2024. Born in Tifton, Georgia, and now based in Jacksonville, Chris aims to reshape rap by focusing on positivity, high vibrations, and non-materialistic messages. His music is designed to inspire and uplift listeners of all backgrounds, avoiding explicit content and promoting education and motivation. Prewrite is the first installment of Chris’s ambitious five-part project Hip-Hop’s Grandchild, with each album serving as a conceptual essay. The album’s 16 tracks, including “5D Rap Rules” and “R.I.P. Parental Advisory,” set the foundation for a new era in hip-hop, aiming to eliminate toxicity, violence, and materialism from the genre. Influenced by artists like Nas, Lupe Fiasco, and Common, Chris blends lyrical depth with reflective, thoughtful messages.
