East London’s own Rinse FM will be supporting Digital Analog Hotel.
Rinse FM is a London-based community radio station that plays garage, grime, dubstep, house, jungle, funky and other dance music genres on the rise in the United Kingdom. Since 1994 the station has catered to younger people living and working within the surrounding London areas like central, east and south. As they’ve dominated the air waves of the United Kingdom, the station has taken on a massive amount of daily listeners, making them widely popularized. They have spent 20 years growing their name, and have gone from asking artists for support to the station supporting artists. It was no surprise when the station announced it was supporting Transatlantic House Duo Digital Analog Hotel.
Digital Analog Hotel is James Hancock and Dan Turner, two producers, musicians and friends who met while working in a recording studio. The pair formed Digital Analog Hotel in late 2019, from opposite sides of the world no less. There is a 5000-mile gap as Dan lives in Colchester and James based in Los Angeles, though originally from Essex. Despite this, the dup has been able to grow their artistry and gain an extensive fan base. The duo that is Digital Analog Hotel is being supported by Rinse FM, and this announcement can be added to their resume as they have also been supported by Bloop Radio and Select Radio.
Able from Rinse FM will be spinning tracks from Digital Analog Hotel’s album Late Checkout throughout the next month. Their debut album released September 4th, has taken old-skool two-step beats and has freshened them up with house sax riffs and acid basslines, giving the duo an accomplished and coherent sound.
