Gareth Ainsworth participated in a 60-minute live-streamed Q&A for a global IT company, which was streamed privately to 30 of their client partners. Topics involved in the Q&A session surrounded the question of how to get fantastic results with a limited budget – something Ainsworth has gained experience in during his time managing the Wycombe Wanderers. Gareth Ainsworth has played for a number of English league clubs in his illustrious career, making an amazing 600 appearances on the pitch. After making his debut on the youth team of his local side Blackburn Rovers, Ainsworth went on to play for Lincoln City, Port Vale, Wimbledon, and Cardiff City, and Queens Park Rangers. As a player, the charismatic defender was known for his fast pace and excellent ability to cross the ball effectively. Ainsworth even earned the nickname ‘Wild Thing’ thanks to his long hair and rock-star ambitions, as he played with fledgling bands in the 1990s and strummed an imaginary guitar to celebrate goals. Ainsworth is now the manager of Wycombe Wanderers, managerial success has earnt him legendary status with the club.
