Alyssa Carson was booked to appear on Stories of Strength, “a podcast series where we share personal and inspirational tales that redefine strength”, as part of an episode called Aiming for The Stars with Alyssa Carson. Talking about her experiences in studying to become an astronaut trainee, the nineteen-year-old shared an inspiring story of perseverance, expanding on her plans to become the first person to land on Mars. Alyssa Carson is the youngest person to graduate from the Advanced Space Academy and Advanced PoSSUM Academy, qualifying her to train as an astronaut and go into space. Since she was a child, Alyssa has been determined to visit space, attending every space camp across the US and the globe. She swiftly became a role model for ambitious young women around the world, going on to begin her astronaut training as a teenager and speak at NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Mission panel at only 12 years old.
