Britain’s favourite baker Nadiya Hussain has teamed up with cosmetics giant The Body Shop to host a Zoom cook-along in aid of charitable causes.
Nadiya Hussain was partnered with The Body Shop by MN2S to put together a digital campaign in support of End Youth Homelessness, an initiative that works with a collective of UK-wide charities seeking to tackle youth homelessness and give young people a brighter future. Between 13th October 2020 and the end of the year, The Body Shop pledged to donate 2p from every transaction to EYH, helping young people find a way out of homelessness and supporting them in their search to find security and safety in their accommodation and beyond.
Nadiya was asked by The Body Shop to host a live Zoom cook-along, which featured the talented baker demonstrating how to put together a delectable vegan cheesecake inspired by two of The Body Shop’s seasonal scents. During the cook-along, Nadiya was joined by a representative of EYH in order to spread the word and share an important message about the work that they’re doing. In addition to her live cook-along, Nadiya posted across her Instagram feed and shared a story, along with two tweets that reached hundreds of thousands, providing a serious boost to the Body Shop’s brand and their efforts to combat youth homelessness.
“Earlier this month, I teamed up with @thebodyshop to host a virtual cook-along, creating a vegan cheesecake inspired by this year’s limited edition seasonal scents, Festive Berry and Warm Vanilla.”
