Nora En Pure Presents: Purified

Daniela Di Lillo, known as Nora En Pure, was born on July 20, 1990, in Johannesburg, South Africa, and later moved to Switzerland. Raised in a musical environment, she developed an early appreciation for various musical genres, including classical music. She began playing musical instruments during her childhood. Her passion for nature and travel significantly influences her music, leading to productions and sets that blend organic and nature-infused sounds. She integrates tribal percussion with traditional Western instrumentation, such as piano, strings, wind instruments, and synthesizers, to create emotive melodies.

Her career began to gain international traction with the single “Saltwater” in 2012, which featured elements from Spandau Ballet’s “True.” This track was included in the Buddha Bar XIV compilation. In 2013, her single “Come With Me” achieved notable success, remaining in Beatport’s Top 100 download list for over seven months. These early releases helped establish her unique melodic and organic deep house sound. She formed a long-standing studio and label partnership with Enormous Tunes label owner Christian Hirt, which further helped in developing her distinct and recognizable sound.

Nora En Pure’s career progression includes numerous milestones, such as performing at major festivals like Coachella and Tomorrowland, including a 3-hour “Daybreak Session” on Tomorrowland’s main stage. She has released a wide array of EPs and remixes for artists like Faithless and Oliver Heldens. In 2019, she launched her own record label, Purified Records. Her radio show, “Purified Radio,” airs on SiriusXM Chill satellite radio and is available as a podcast, receiving a nomination for Best Radio/Podcast in the 2019 IDMA Awards. She has been consistently ranked among DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, reaching 53rd place in 2023 and placing 6th among female DJs.
