Audio Bullys

Audio Bullys is a British electronic music project that originated in London in 2001. The group was initially comprised of Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale. Their debut album, “Ego War,” released in 2003, garnered positive reviews, establishing their presence in the electronic music scene. This album integrated various genres including breaks, hip-hop, punk, garage, and house.

Two years later, in 2005, they released “Generation,” which featured collaborations with Suggs and Mike Barson of Madness. A significant achievement during this period was their hit single “Shot You Down,” featuring Nancy Sinatra, which reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart in 2005. The duo continued to produce music, releasing their third album, “Higher Than the Eiffel,” in 2010. This album also included contributions from Suggs and Barson, reflecting ongoing collaborations.

In 2012, Tom Dinsdale departed from the group. Simon Franks has continued to perform live as Audio Bullys, often alongside DJ Andy Amfo. In recent years, Audio Bullys has re-emerged with new music, including a collaboration with Michael Bibi for the 20th anniversary of “Ego War,” showcasing a fresh interpretation of their earlier work. They have also released new tracks like “As We Step” and partnered with various artists on recent projects.
