David Paparusso, known professionally as David Vendetta, was born on August 25, 1968, in Longwy, France. His career as a professional DJ began in 2002. Early in his career, he connected with established French DJ Antoine Clamaran, who produced Vendetta’s initial three maxi singles: ‘Fiction – No Sex,’ ‘She Loves Me – Party People,’ and ‘Alicante – Cleopatra.’ During this period, Vendetta also started his work as a producer, notably when American DJ Roger Sanchez enlisted him to remix several of his tracks.
In 2006, Vendetta released ‘Love to Love You Baby,’ a track that sampled Donna Summer and reached No. 20 on the French Singles Chart. The following year, his single ‘Unidos Para La Musica’ achieved even greater success, climbing to the Top 5 in France and the Top 30 in Belgium-Wallonia. Beyond his studio work, Vendetta expanded his influence by hosting a weekly radio show on FG DJ Radio and organizing events in international locations such as Ibiza, New York City, Moscow, and Marrakech. His debut album, “Rendez-Vous,” was released in 2007 through V2, and his second album, “Vendetta,” followed in 2010 via DJ Center Music Group, featuring collaborations with vocalists such as Haifa Wehbe, Tara McDonald, and Alim Qasimov.
Over the years, David Vendetta has established a reputation for crafting electronic music. He has released records on labels including Roger Sanchez’s Stealth, Ultra, and Paradise Records. His track ‘Love to Love You Baby’ and ‘Break 4 Love’ have millions of views on YouTube. As a DJ, he consistently performs at clubs worldwide, from Russia and Egypt to Turkey and Qatar. He has also made appearances at renowned venues like Amnesia and Pacha, and plays at private events for ambassadors, presidents, and royalty. More recently, Vendetta achieved chart success with ‘Love is Love’ as part of VenSun, a collaborative project with Sylvia Tosun. This track charted on Billboard Magazine’s Dance Club chart and reached number two on the Music Week Upfront Club Chart, leading to the release of their debut EP, ‘The Dragon Flies’.
