DJ Lord is an American DJ and turntablist, widely recognized for his extensive work with iconic hip-hop group Public Enemy and his notable career in turntablism competitions. After establishing a formidable reputation as a highly skilled DJ and turntablist through numerous victories in competitive battle circuits, DJ Lord achieved a significant career milestone in 1999 when he joined the iconic hip-hop group Public Enemy. Replacing original DJ Terminator X, his integration coincided with the group’s 40th World Tour, where he quickly became an integral part of their acclaimed live performances and recording efforts. His unique and recognizable style, characterized by precision cuts and multi-genre mixing, has been a consistent and defining feature throughout his extensive work with the influential collective.

DJ Lord’s profound influence on turntablism and hip-hop is comprehensively documented, recognized for his exceptional technical prowess and ability to seamlessly blend diverse musical genres. From 2019 onwards, DJ Lord has further expanded his collaborative footprint by regularly touring and performing with the Grammy-nominated hip-hop group Cypress Hill.
