Antoine Clamaran

Antoine Clamaran has built a career as a DJ and record producer, known for his contributions to French house music. He has held residencies at prominent clubs and produced numerous tracks, some achieving significant chart positions. After initiating his production career in 1992 alongside Laurent Pautrat, Antoine Clamaran’s debut production, ‘I’ve got music in me’ by 400 Hz, released on House Trade Records, quickly gained traction. Licensed by BMG France, the track sold over 100,000 units, establishing Clamaran as a key emerging producer in the French music scene.

That same year, he transitioned his primary DJ residency to Le Queen in Paris, solidifying his presence in the city’s nightlife. In 1999, Clamaran strategically shifted his production focus to house music under his own name, targeting international markets. His tracks ‘Do The Funk,’ ‘Get Up,’ and ‘After,’ characterized by their distinctive ‘french filtered sound,’ were licensed by the US-based Filtered Records for their Discoland EP and garnered significant support from international DJs including Boris Duglosch, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong, Danny Rampling, and Robbie Rivera. That same year, his label Clap Production merged with Penso Positivo, co-founded by DJ Claude Monnet.

Throughout his career, Antoine Clamaran has consistently demonstrated an ability to blend innovative production with widespread appeal, establishing himself as a significant and enduring figure in global electronic music through his chart-topping releases, influential remixes, and residencies at premier venues.
