DJ Yoda, a multi-award-winning DJ and producer, first gained significant recognition by winning a DMC DJ of the Year award in the Scratch DJ category in 2001. Known for his innovative turntablism and distinctive animated musical style, he released his acclaimed ‘How to Cut & Paste Mix Tape Vol.1’ for Antidote Records, following the buzz from popular underground demo tapes. This early prowess also earned him a nomination for Best UK Hip-Hop DJ at the UK Hip-Hop Awards, quickly establishing him as a groundbreaking force in the scene. Building on this momentum, DJ Yoda was celebrated by Q magazine as one of the ‘Ten DJs To See Before You Die’ and embarked on extensive international tours with artists such as Goldie and the Scratch Perverts.
In 2016, he released his viral ‘Stranger Things Mix’, which accumulated over a quarter of a million plays, and premiered his immersive audio-visual show ‘A History of Gaming’ at the London Film Festival.
