Roger Taylor is a distinguished drummer recognized for his foundational role in the iconic new wave band Duran Duran, offering extensive experience and musical credibility to diverse brand engagements. After joining the iconic new wave band Duran Duran in 1979, Roger Taylor quickly rose to international stardom, establishing himself as a foundational drummer in the new wave genre. He performed on the band’s first three studio albums: Duran Duran (1981), Rio (1982), and Seven and the Ragged Tiger (1983). The video for their debut single, ‘Planet Earth,’ notably opens with a prominent shot of Taylor, cementing his visual presence from the band’s inception.
In 2010, Duran Duran released All You Need Is Now, an album that topped the iTunes pop chart in 15 countries. He also performed with the band at Hyde Park for the 2012 London Olympic Games. Further albums include Paper Gods (2015) and Future Past (2021). Taylor collaborated on the Peace Tracks charity project in 2016.
