40 Fingers is an Italian guitar quartet established in 2017. The current lineup consists of Matteo Brenci, Emanuele Grafitti, Enrico Maria Milanesi, and Andrea Vittori. The group’s original lineup included guitarist Marco Steffè, with whom they released their debut album, “40 Fingers.” Enrico Maria Milanesi joined the quartet in October 2019, completing the present formation. The quartet is recognized for its innovative use of fingerpicking technique, performing a wide array of musical styles encompassing jazz, Latin American music, and reinterpretations of popular movie scores and modern classics.
Their musical interpretations include works by Queen, Astor Piazzolla, The Beatles, Eagles, Toto, Dire Straits, and Eric Clapton. A significant milestone in their career was the arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which achieved over 11 million views on YouTube and received acknowledgement from the official Queen website. Their interest in cinematic music is reflected in their covers of themes from “Star Wars,” “Harry Potter,” “The Last of the Mohicans,” Disney medleys, and “Game of Thrones.”
40 Fingers has engaged in collaborations with various national and international artists. These collaborations include performances with Andrea Bocelli, Matteo Bocelli, American singer Tori Kelly, and Andy Summers of The Police. The quartet has developed a growing international following and continues to perform globally, offering unique musical experiences.
