Amira Elfeky

Amira Lynne Elfeky was born and raised in Simsbury, Connecticut, to an Egyptian father and an American mother. Her early exposure to music was eclectic, ranging from Arabic songs her father played to classic rock records introduced by her mother. Her two older brothers later introduced her to nu-metal, which significantly influenced her musical direction. She attended Simsbury High School before moving to San Francisco with her family at the age of 18. Elfeky currently resides in Los Angeles, where she continued to develop her musical career.

Elfeky’s career began to solidify in 2023 with the release of her first songs, “Tonight (demo)” and “Coming Down.” These initial releases generated interest, leading to her signing with Anemoia Records, an imprint of Atlantic Records. This period also saw her collaborating with mixer Tylor Bondar to refine her sound. In 2024, Elfeky released her debut EP, *Skin to Skin*, and began working with music producer Zakk Cervini, known for his work in the genre, who produced and mixed her new material. Her second EP, *Surrender*, followed in March 2025. Elfeky’s musical style merges alternative and nu-metal influences with a gothic flair, drawing comparisons to artists like Evanescence, Linkin Park, and Deftones. She was nominated for the 2025 Heavy Music Awards in the category of Best International Breakthrough Artist.

Her career has also included notable touring and collaborations. In September 2025, Elfeky opened for Bring Me The Horizon’s US tour, expanding her reach to a wider audience. She is also scheduled to support I Prevail’s Violent Nature Tour in September 2026, alongside Polaris. A significant collaboration includes being featured on “Judgement Day,” a track from Architects’ album *The Sky, the Earth & All Between* in February 2025. Her discography includes several singles released since 2023, such as “Everything I Do Is For You,” “A Dozen Roses,” and “Paradise” with I Prevail. Elfeky has established a presence in the heavy rock scene, bringing a fresh sound and garnering attention for her unique blend of genres.
