Anti Up

Anti Up is a collaborative electronic music project formed by established dance music artists Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo. The duo was officially formed in 2018. Their work is characterized by a blend of raw acid house influences and polished, festival-ready tech-house sounds. This combination has allowed them to create tracks that are both technically sophisticated and engaging for a broad audience within the electronic dance music scene.

Throughout their career, Anti Up has focused on producing impactful singles and EPs. Their debut EP, “Hey Pablo,” was released in 2018 on their own label, Up the Anti Records, featuring tracks that quickly gained attention. This was followed by singles like “Concentrate” and “Right Now” in 2019, further solidifying their presence in the genre. A significant turning point for the duo occurred when they signed with Atlantic/Big Beat Records, a move that expanded their reach and allowed for broader distribution of their music.

In recent years, Anti Up has continued to evolve their sound, incorporating diverse influences into their productions. The 2021 single “Sensational” notably included elements of 80s freestyle and synth-pop, demonstrating their willingness to experiment within the electronic framework. They have consistently released new material, including “Shake” and “Something’s About to Go Down.” In 2022, they released “Chromatic.” Their first full-length album, “What Is Life,” was released in 2024, featuring collaborations with artists such as Audio Bullys, Olly Burden, and NCognita, marking a major milestone in their collective journey.
