Dan Auerbach

Dan Auerbach, acclaimed musician, singer-songwriter, and Grammy-winning producer, is best known as the guitarist and vocalist for The Black Keys, and helms his own successful label and recording studio, Easy Eye Sound. After forming The Black Keys in 2001 with drummer Patrick Carney, Dan Auerbach quickly established himself as a prominent force in rock music. The duo debuted with ‘The Big Come Up’ in 2002, initially self-producing their first four records, including the critically acclaimed ‘Rubber Factory’ in 2004. Their commercial breakthrough arrived in 2010 with the multi-platinum album ‘Brothers’ and its international hit single ‘Tighten Up,’ which sold millions of copies and garnered three Grammy Awards.

The Black Keys continued this success with their 2011 follow-up, ‘El Camino,’ earning three additional Grammy Awards and leading to their first headlining arena tour. In 2014, the band released ‘Turn Blue,’ which soared to number one in the US, Canada, and Australia. Beyond his acclaimed work with The Black Keys, Auerbach expanded his impressive discography as a solo artist, releasing his debut solo album ‘Keep It Hid’ in 2009. He further showcased his versatility by forming the side project The Arcs, debuting with ‘Yours, Dreamily,’ in 2015.

Most recently, Dan Auerbach spearheaded The Black Keys’ eleventh studio album, ‘Ohio Players,’ released in 2024, continuing to deliver chart-topping and critically acclaimed music. As a Grammy-winning musician, singer-songwriter, and producer, Auerbach consistently demonstrates an exceptional ability to innovate across multiple genres while maintaining a distinctive artistic voice.
