Dayseeker is a dynamic American post-hardcore band that has made significant strides in the music industry since its formation in 2012 in Orange County, California. The band, consisting of vocalist Rory Rodriguez, guitarist Gino Sgambelluri, bassist Ramone Valerio, and drummer Zac Mayfield, has captivated audiences with their emotive sound and powerful lyrics. Their journey began with the release of their debut album, “What It Means to Be Defeated,” in 2013, which showcased their potential and earned them a dedicated fanbase.
In 2015, Dayseeker released their sophomore album, “Origin,” which further solidified their presence in the post-hardcore scene. The album was produced by Nick Ingram and featured the lead single of the same name, demonstrating the band’s growth and musical evolution. Their transition to Spinefarm Records marked a pivotal moment in their career, allowing them to reach new heights with their subsequent releases.
The band’s third album, “Dreaming Is Sinking /// Waking Is Rising,” released in 2017, showcased their ability to blend heavy instrumentation with introspective lyrics.
