Home Free is an American country a cappella group that has achieved global recognition for their unique vocal arrangements and extensive touring, accumulating over 720,000 album equivalents and more than 830 million YouTube views. After winning the fourth season of NBC’s ‘The Sing-Off’ in 2013 with their standout arrangement of Hunter Hayes’s ‘I Want Crazy,’ Home Free established themselves as a premier country a cappella act. This victory brought a $100,000 prize and a significant recording contract with Sony. The group, founded in January 2001 by Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp, and Matt Atwood, developed unique vocal arrangements, enabling them to pursue music full-time by 2007.

Their album Full of (Even More) Cheer debuted at number two on the Top Country Albums chart in 2016. That same year saw Adam Chance join the group, succeeding co-founder Chris Rupp. Leveraging digital platforms, Home Free cultivated a dedicated fanbase known as ‘Home Fries.’ By 2020, they had reached 1 million YouTube subscribers, a figure that has since grown to over 1.8 million. They utilize Patreon to fund video productions, alongside a consistent national touring schedule.

June 2024 marked a further evolution in the group’s lineup with Adam Bell-Bastien joining, following the departure of Austin Brown. Home Free continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its reputation for exceptional vocal talent, engaging performances, distinct sound, and trademark humor.
