Illuminati Hotties is an influential indie rock band originating from Los Angeles, California, created and led by the exceptionally talented producer and audio engineer, Sarah Tudzin. Tudzin’s professional journey began as a recording engineer, where she laid the foundation for her artistic expression. The establishment of Illuminati Hotties in 2017 allowed her to showcase a diverse range of production capabilities, culminating in the band’s debut full-length album, “Kiss Yr Frenemies,” released in 2018 under Tiny Engines. This album received widespread acclaim, solidifying the band’s place in the indie rock scene.
In October 2019, Tudzin demonstrated her commitment to social causes by releasing the song “ppl plzr,” with all proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention organization. This initiative not only showcased her musical talent but also emphasized her dedication to important social issues. Following this, in July 2020, the band announced a mixtape titled “Free I.H: This Is Not the One You’ve Been Waiting For,” which marked a significant turning point in Tudzin’s career as she initiated an exit agreement with Tiny Engines, establishing her independence as an artist.
In 2021, Tudzin took a bold step by partnering with Hopeless Records to launch her imprint label, Snack Shack Tracks. Under this label, the band released the energetic track “MMMOOOAAAAAYAYA,” followed by the single “Pool Hopping” in June. These releases paved the way for their third studio album, “Let Me Do One More,” which debuted to critical success on October 1, 2021.
Most recently, Tudzin expanded her artistic horizons by performing the vocals for “Igyah Kah,” featured in the Ahsoka TV series soundtrack. As of 2024, she continues to captivate audiences with her creativity, announcing the upcoming album “Power” set for release on August 23. Illuminati Hotties, under her vision and leadership, remains a significant force in the contemporary music landscape, pushing boundaries and inspiring fans worldwide.
