Jon Z’s career commenced in 2011 as part of the dynamic duo J-Tonez and Jon Z, where he quickly made his mark with the release of his first single, ‘Nunca te veo,’ followed by tracks such as ‘El dinero me llama’ and ‘Háblame de dinero.’ His innovative approach to urban music gained significant traction in 2013 as he began consistently uploading compelling freestyle videos to YouTube, rapidly expanding his visibility within the vibrant urban music scene. This early exposure and demonstrated talent led to a pivotal record deal with Boy Wonder’s Chosen Few Emeralds Entertainment. By 2015, Jon Z solidified his unique artistic identity with the release of his debut album, ‘The Game Is About to Change,’ which showcased his signature high-pitched raps and a distinctive fusion of reggaetón, trap, and hip-hop.
