Kian

Kian is an Australian singer-songwriter who has achieved recognition for his blend of alternative pop, R&B, and hip-hop, earning awards and critical acclaim. He currently continues to write and record music. After his single ‘Waiting’ garnered widespread attention in July 2018, Kian won Triple J’s national Unearthed High competition the following month. The track was immediately added to high rotation on Triple J and received significant airplay on Nova.

He expanded his performance footprint globally, appearing at major festivals including The Great Escape and Laneway Festival in 2019, and touring with artists such as Conan Gray and Jorja Smith. His critical acclaim was recognized in 2020 when ‘Waiting’ received two prestigious APRA Awards: Most Performed Australian Work of the Year and Most Performed Alternative Work of the Year.
