Lo Talker

Lo Talker is an Athens, Georgia-based indie rock band formed in 2019 by guitarist and songwriter Andrew Shepard. As the former frontman of Roadkill Ghost Choir, Shepard had already gained experience and recognition in the music industry, having played at major festivals and even appeared on Late Night with David Letterman. However, he felt constrained by the expectations placed on him and wanted to break out of that mold, ultimately yielding Lo Talker as a fresh start toward freedom of creative expression.

The group, consisting of Shepard, vocalist and keyboardist Lydia Brambila, bassist and keyboardist Bass Hotel, and drummer Aaron Pitt, came together with a shared objective of crafting a sound that goes beyond the conventional limits of mainstream indie rock.
