Ne Obliviscaris is a pioneering progressive metal band hailing from Melbourne, Australia, formed in April 2003. Initially conceived as a four-piece by Marc “Xenoyr” Campbell and Adam Cooper, the band has since evolved into a six-member ensemble known for their intricate soundscapes and genre-blending approach. Over the years, Ne Obliviscaris has become renowned for their fusion of extreme metal and progressive elements, incorporating unique features such as violin into their compositions.

The current lineup showcases a dynamic range of talent and experience. Marc “Xenoyr” Campbell provides the harsh vocals and lyrics, a role he has held since the band’s inception. Tim Charles, who joined the band shortly after its formation, enriches their sound with his violin and clean vocals. Guitarists Matt Klavins and Benjamin Baret contribute to the band’s complex guitar arrangements, while Martino Garattoni’s bass and backing vocals add depth to their music. The lineup is completed by drummer Daniel Presland, who has returned to the band after previous stints, bringing his intricate drumming back to the fold.

Their debut album, Portal of I, was released in 2012, followed by Citadel in 2014 and *Urn* in 2017.
