Rozalla

Rozalla secured a major international breakthrough in 1991 with her hit single ‘Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good),’ which soared to number 6 on the UK Singles Chart, became a top 10 hit across numerous European countries, and entered the Billboard Top 40 in the United States in 1992. This success followed her 1988 relocation to London, where she collaborated with production duo Band of Gypsies (Nigel Swanston and Tim Cox). Her 1990 UK debut, ‘Born to Luv Ya,’ quickly became a club hit. The album ‘Everybody’s Free’ peaked at number 20 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified silver in 1992, also producing UK chart hits ‘Faith (In the Power of Love)’ (number 11, 1991) and ‘Are You Ready to Fly’ (number 14, 1992).

In 2021, Rozalla saw ‘Coming Home’ and ‘Pride’ enter Amazon’s Global Dance Chart. Further demonstrating her contemporary impact, a Metro mix of ‘Coming Home’ hit number 5 on the iTunes Dance Chart in Norway, while the Samba Mix of ‘Don’t Go Lose It Baby’ also reached number 5 on the iTunes Dance Chart in Hong Kong that same year, alongside other international iTunes Dance Chart successes for ‘Don’t Go Lose It Baby’ in Mexico and Australia. Most recently, Rozalla released her album ‘Turn On the Light’ in February 2024.
