Trueno is an Argentine rapper whose impactful lyrics and dynamic performances have positioned him as a central figure in Latin hip-hop, leading to collaborations with global artists and major industry recognition. After becoming the champion of Red Bull’s Batalla de los Gallos Argentina in 2019, Trueno further solidified his position by finishing first in the FMS Argentina competition the same year. This breakthrough period also saw his collaboration with producer Bizarrap on ‘BZRP Music Sessions #6,’ which quickly amassed over 250 million views on YouTube, becoming the platform’s most-viewed freestyle video. Prior to these national victories, Trueno had already made a significant mark in the rap battle scene, winning the Crossing of Champions competition in 2017 and the ACDP Zoo Juniors tournament.

In 2020, Trueno released his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Atrevido,’ which featured collaborations with prominent artists including Nicki Nicole, Bizarrap, WOS, and Aleman. The album’s lead single, ‘Mamichula,’ featuring Nicki Nicole and produced by Bizarrap, achieved global success, garnering over 100 million views on YouTube within a month of its release and reaching the number one position on the Argentina Hot 100 list. ‘Atrevido’ went on to achieve Quadruple Platinum status in Argentina, with nine of its tracks entering Spotify’s Top 50 in the region. He followed this success with his 2022 protest album, ‘Bien o Mal,’ which addressed critical social issues in Latin America, earning him critical acclaim and the prestigious Album of the Year award at the 2023 Premios Gardel.

The same year, he debuted new music on platforms like A COLORS SHOW with his song ‘No Cap,’ which delivered a homage to 2000s rap. Known for his electrifying beats, lyrical skill, and impactful music videos, Trueno continues to cement his position as an influential and compelling voice within the Latin hip-hop genre.
