Uncured

Uncured is a four-piece band originating from New Jersey, USA, recognized for its explosive and uncompromising musical style. The band lineup features brothers Rex Cox on vocals and guitar, Zak Cox on lead guitar, Zachary King (King Z) on drums, and Betto Andrade on bass. Their sound integrates the raw energy and aggression characteristic of 2000s metal with contemporary hooks, choruses, and breakdowns. This approach has allowed them to create an intense and fresh musical experience for their audience.

Since their formation, Uncured has engaged in extensive touring, having performed over 300 shows across 14 different countries. They have supported prominent acts such as Bad Omens, Jinjer, Lacuna Coil, and Bad Wolves. The band has also made appearances at major music festivals, including Welcome to Rockville, Inkcarceration, Rock Fest, Bloodstock (UK), and Summer Breeze (Germany). Uncured is scheduled to perform at the Louder Than Life festival in September 2025, further solidifying their presence in the festival circuit.

Uncured released their full-length album, “WARPATH,” on February 21, 2025. This album demonstrates the band’s musicianship and intensity through songs that address various themes with a direct approach. The album’s singles, “Mask of Sanity,” “Manifesto,” and “3 Minutes,” have received attention from music publications. “Mask of Sanity” reached the Top 40 on both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart and the Mediabase Active Rock Chart. Their cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Closer” also debuted on Loudwire Nights National Radio and Sirius XM Liquid Metal’s Corridor of Covers.
