INOHA is a San Antonio-based indie and alternative rock band formed in 2023, currently riding the momentum of their first-ever headlining U.S. tour. The four-piece brings together members from different musical backgrounds: Keanu Bicol on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Christian Young on bass and vocals, Ricky Juarez on drums, and Gavin Gonzalez on lead guitar and vocals. Just months before launching the headline run, the band opened for Phoneboy at the same venues, a quick leap from supporting act to top billing.
That jump has reshaped how INOHA performs. Sets expanded from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, letting the band finally play fan-favorite songs that previously never made the cut. Headlining also means hauling and providing their own backline every night, a responsibility the group has embraced while adjusting to long drives, off days, and life on the road together.
In November 2025, the tour brought INOHA to Boston’s Brighton Music Hall, where they sat down with WTBU Radio ahead of their show. The interview offered a candid look at a young band finding its footing in real time, from sharing beds on the road to the satisfaction of delivering full-length sets for growing crowds. With three years of momentum behind them and a first headline tour underway, INOHA has established itself as one of San Antonio’s emerging rock acts worth watching.
