White Stripes

The White Stripes, an iconic American rock duo formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1997, consisted of Jack White and Meg White. They emerged as a leading force in the 2000s indie rock scene, particularly known for their role in the garage rock revival. Their journey began with the release of six singles and two albums in the late 1990s, but it was their third album, “White Blood Cells” (2001), that catapulted them to fame, earning critical acclaim and establishing them as a significant act in the music industry.
