Woodkid

Woodkid is a multifaceted artist recognized for his profound contributions as a music video director, graphic designer, composer, and singer-songwriter, delivering impactful visual and auditory experiences to global audiences and brands. After earning the prestigious Best Director of the Year at the 2012 MVPA Awards and receiving six MTV Video Music Award nominations the same year, Woodkid quickly established himself as a preeminent visual artist. He directed iconic music videos for global superstars including Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ (2010), Taylor Swift’s ‘Back to December’ (2011), and Lana Del Rey’s ‘Born to Die’ (2011). Woodkid further showcased his diverse talents by debuting his musical project with the release of the ‘Iron EP’ on March 28, 2011.

He further contributed music with ‘Guns For Hire’ for Riot Games’ successful series ‘Arcane’ (2021) and collaborated with Mylène Farmer on her 2022 album ‘L’Emprise.’ Maintaining his prolific output in 2024, Woodkid composed ‘To Ashes and Blood’ for ‘Arcane Season 2.’ He is slated for a major collaboration in 2025, co-composing the highly anticipated video game ‘Death Stranding 2: On the Beach’ alongside Hideo Kojima, for which he will also release an accompanying album, ‘Woodkid for Death Stranding 2.’
