Foodie and entrepreneur Abe Garman is a leading voice in the industry. Co-founder of the revolutionary Clean Kitchen Club and instrumental in his family’s longstanding Brighton-based restaurant, Il Bistro, Garman is a force to be reckoned with. A reputable seasoned vegan chef, Garman is the man behind some of the most innovative plant-based menus and has been instrumental in the Club’s reimagined fast-food concept, “Grab & Go.” Together with YouTube star Mikey Pearce, Garman first caught local attention for being behind the only vegan burger brand in Brighton. From selling 500 burgers a week to having six outlets throughout London, including the iconic Boxpark Wembley, Garman is part of the foodie revolution sweeping the nation.
With over a decades worth of experience and years perfecting his craft as a vegan chef, Garman has learned in some of the best kitchens around. Alongside his father, Garman has been instrumental in the progressive Il Bistro restaurant. Before then, Garman worked in the nightclub industry as a promoter for the likes of Coalition, Hed Kandi and Madam Geisha. But when his long term, friend Pearce came knocking, Garman knew it was time to challenge the norm and started to create a ripple effect throughout the industry by promoting positive change.
