Anastasia Horlova

Anastasia Horlova is a Ukrainian canoeist who has achieved significant milestones in the sport of canoe sprint. Born on February 2, 1995, she began her athletic journey, eventually becoming a student of the Lviv State School of Physical Culture. Her dedication to the sport led to numerous competitive successes at both European and World Championship levels. Horlova has consistently represented Ukraine in various international competitions.

Her career highlights include strong performances in K-2 200m events. In 2017, Horlova, paired with Mariia Kichasova, secured a gold medal at the Canoe Sprint European Championships held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in the K-2 200m category. This achievement marked her as a European champion. Continuing her success, in 2018, she earned a bronze medal at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Montemor-o-Velho, again in the K-2 200m event, further solidifying her position in the sport.

Horlova’s professional journey also involved participation in significant multi-sport events, including the European Games in both 2015 and 2019.
