Anastasia Horlova is a Ukrainian sprint canoeist. Representing the Ukrainian Canoe Federation, Horlova has earned multiple titles in her sport through hard work and perseverance. Dating as far back as 2013, Horlova competed at high levels that included the 2013 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships and the 2014 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships. Later down the road at the 2017 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup 1, Horlova found herself ranking third overall in the Women’s K2 Senior 200 Final, and second overall in the Women’s K2 Senior 500 Final events.
After the tremendous success of Horlova accomplished at the world cup it seemed as if things couldn’t get any better, but they did. In the 2017 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup 2, Horlova ranked first overall in the Women’s K2 Senior 200 Final with a score of 36.922. After proving to her competitors that she was amongst the best in the sport, Horlova continued to compete at an elite level of athleticism.
In the 2018 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships Horlova ranked third overall in the Women’s K2 Senior 200 Final after having ranked first in the Women’s K2 200 Heats 2. Most recently Horlova was able to add another accomplishment to her list at the 2019 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup by ranking second overall in the Women’s K1 Senior 200 Final with a score of 00:41.184. As an accomplished sprint canoeist, Horlova continues to be on the road to greatness.
