Dominika Wlodarczyk is a world-class sprint canoeist from Poland. Representing the Polish Canoe Federation, Wlodarczyk has proven her athletic ability against the best. Wlodarczyk’s track record can be traced as far back as the 2013 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships where she ranked 3rd in the Women’s K4 Junior 500 Heats 2. From there Wlodarczyk’s gradual improvement In the sport began to become more evident. In the 2015 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup Wlodarczyk peaked with a rank of 2 in the Women’s K4 Senior 200 Semifinal. Not long afterwards Wlodarczyk would taste 1st place for the first time during the Women’s K4 U23 500 Semifinal at the 2015 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships.
In the 2016 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup Wlodarczyk would earn gold in the Semifinal for the Women’s K2 Senior 500 once again. From there Wlodarczyk began to place several impressive runs against the best in the world with multiple 2nd place finishes and one first place ranking in the Women’s K1 U23 200 Heats 1 event at the 2016 ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships. Wlodarczyk would not place in the top three in a final event until the 2017 ICF Cane Sprint World Cup where she earned a 2nd place ranking in the Women’s K4 Senior 500. Wlodarczyk would go on to earn several final second place rankings including the Women’s K2 Senior 200 Final at the 2019 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup, and shows no signs of slowing down in the future.
