Angus Sampson is an actor and director who has appeared in some of the biggest productions of recent years. He is well known for his work on the horror films in the Insidious series, and he also starred in the Mad Max: Fury Road reboot. He has also made small appearances in big shows such as The Walking Dead.
Sampson began his acting career with a number of appearances in shorts and small TV roles. It wasn’t until later in his career that he began to land larger roles, but once he did, there was no stopping him. He appeared in the movie, Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga’Hoole, as a voiceover character, but he became better known for his recurring role in the Insidious films. His character, Tucker, appeared in all three movies in the franchise, as well as a three part mini-series in the same universe. The role put him on the map and assisted him in landing parts in other films such as comedy movie, The Mule, and then Mad Max: Fury Road. He also had a role in the hit TV series, Fargo. He established himself as a serious actor, but has also excelled in comedy roles.
Sampson has also tried his hand at behind the scenes work. He was the co-director of The Mule, in which he also starred, and he also worked on some of the writing for the film. Sampson is a triple threat in the industry, and clearly has plenty more to offer for the rest of his career.
