Sports presenter Anna Whiteley is best known as the host of weekly golf TV show Morning Drive on the Golf Channel, as well as presenting live coverage of prestigious golfing tournaments and tennis matches.
Whiteley travels the world on the PGA, European and LPGA tours, giving viewers a unique insight with player interviews, analysis and tips. She regularly appears on Sky Sports, Golfing Channel and Fox Sports, having hosted the 2018 US PGA Championship and the European Tour’s Access All Areas series at the 2016 and 2018 Ryder Cup. As well as hosting the weekly online golf show, Season Pass, she is the Golf Channel’s European Expert and worked alongside Vernon Kay on the live coverage of the Golf Sixes tournament. She is also a regular reporter for The Wimbledon Channel and Radio and co-presented the Champions Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall in London, having also been an on-site contributor for the coverage of the 2018 US Open.
Whiteley is a seasoned corporate Q and A host, interviewing players such as Colin Montgomerie, Raphael Nadal and Michael Phelps. She has also done voiceover and commentary work and written for children’s television, as well as compering award presentations and ceremonies. It’s no surprise she has a First Class Honours degree in Media Communications, and with a 16 handicap can often be found down at her local club of Bearwood Lakes in Berkshire.
