The incredibly talented Anne Hardy is an artist, whose is internationally recognised for her photography and large-scale sculptural installations, all of which create immersive and sensual environments with their combination of physical materials with light and sound.
Born and raised in England, Hardy studied painting at the Cheltenham School of Art and then later took a Master’s in photography at the Royal College of London. She then began to explore sculptural installation work, constructing abstract environments coupled with audio landscapes. She has held a number of solo exhibitions across the globe, including Secession in Vienna in 2012, which was also accompanied by a publication. Her second publication, FIELD/TWIN FIELDS/FIELDWORKS, was released in 2015 to present her large scale installation works, FIELD works.
Hardy’s stunning works are now held in numerous public collections across Britain, including at the Tate Britain, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Council, the Arts Council Collection, and the Leeds Art Gallery. She has also held artist residencies at the Camden Arts Centre, in 2011 and Live in the Studio at Modern Art Oxford.
