Antoaneta Kostadinova

Securing a silver medal in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Antoaneta Kostadinova established herself as an elite competitor with a verifiable track record of consistent high-level performance in international sport shooting. Her professional career began in 2004, quickly demonstrating talent in both 10m Air Pistol and 25m Pistol disciplines. Early on, Kostadinova earned significant recognition, including a bronze medal in the 25m Pistol Women at the Milan World Cup in 2006. She also secured a bronze medal in the 10m Air Pistol Women Junior event in Moscow in 2006, followed by multiple silver medals at senior-level European Championships.

Kostadinova’s career progression is marked by her consistent presence at the Olympic Games, commencing with London 2012 where she competed in both 10m Air Pistol and 25m Pistol events. Beyond her Olympic silver, she has accumulated numerous World Cup medals throughout her career, showcasing sustained competitive abilities with multiple gold, silver, and bronze finishes across various international locations such as Baku, Osijek, Munich, and Fort Benning.
