California-raised actress and model Beau Garrett has featured in a variety of movies and television series since making her acting debut in 2004. After growing up in the Topanga Canyon, west of Los Angeles, Garrett pursued a modeling career before going on to star in popular shows such as Criminal Minds, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, and The Good Doctor.
First discovered by a modeling agent while singing Christmas carols in an LA shopping mall, Garrett modeled professionally for Guess and other global brands from ages 14 to 21. Her acting career began in 2004 with one of her first roles in HBO’s Entourage. In 2007, she played Frankie Raye in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, followed by additional film credits in Made of Honor and Tron: Legacy. Garrett was featured in 13 episodes of Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior in 2011 and made recurring appearances in CSI: NY the same year. She landed the role of Phoebe Conte in Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce in 2014, appearing in 33 episodes over the show’s first four seasons. In 2017, she starred as Jessica Preston in the first season of ABC’s hit series The Good Doctor. Garrett has also appeared in episodes of House, Chuck, Glee, The Rookie, and more television series throughout her illustrious career.
Garrett made her stage debut in 2019 in Saugerties, a play which ran at the Hudson Guild Theatre in Hollywood. 2020 will see her star alongside Katherine Heigl in Firefly Lane, a highly anticipated Netflix series. The actress is heavily involved in buildOn, a non-profit organization that has seen her travel internationally and help in building three schools for underprivileged youth.
