Celebrity chef and reality TV star Bryan Voltaggio is the executive chef of three restaurants and has appeared on Top Chef and Top Chef Masters.
Voltaggio received his chef training at the Culinary Institute of America, going on to work at Aureole where he was mentored by legendary chef Charlie Palmer. He went on to work at restaurants around the world including Pic, a three Michelin star restaurant in France. He then returned to work with Charlie Palmer in Washington, before launching his own ventures including Volt in 2008 and Family Meal in 2012. He has also teamed up with his brother to open a series of eateries such as Voltaggio Brothers Steak House, Estuary and STRFSH. Voltaggio’s career has gone from strength to strength, and in 2009 he was cast in the sixth season of Top Chef. The show made him a household name and he quickly became a fan favourite, returning in 2013 for Top Chef Masters. He is currently the only chef to have appeared in both series of the show. Outside of restaurants and TV, Voltaggio has also written two cookbooks, Home: Recipes to Cook with Family and Friends and VOLT.Ink which he wrote with his brother.
This multi-talented chef and TV personality is also known for his charity ventures, having raised over a million dollars for Chefs Cycle and No Kid Hungry to prevent childhood hunger. Voltaggio has more projects in the pipeline and looks set for many more years of success.
