Todd Alan Clem, known best as an American radio personality and businessman who hosts The Bubba the Love Sponge Show on the radio station WWBA in Tampa, Florida. The Bubba the Love Sponge Show is known for discussing titillating and shocking content, including graphic content, and is meant to be a fun, loud escape for listeners. Clem began working in radio as an intern to Kerry Gray, making studio visits, answering phone calls, and sitting in on the show, soon gaining his own position at the station and progressing to becoming the station’s managing director. Clem gained his name after Gray declared that Clem was a “love spong” after witnessing the amount of female attention he received, and his trademark name was born.
Clem would go on to work for WFLZ-FM Tampa, WXTB Tampa and Sirius Sattelite, where he would go on to win four Billboard Personality of the Year awards, and grow his nightclub empire. Currently, Clem hosts his own show organised by his own company, and has a few co-hosts who help him out with this venture. Clem also works in wrestling, being a backstage interviewer at Total NonStop Wrestling, and is constantly thinking about the next creative business venture.
