American singer, songwriter and rapper Morgan Parriott works under the stage name Call Me Karizma. He makes moody, visceral post-pop music rooted in both Hip Hop, punk and electronica. Full of sharp wordplay, his deeply personal songs offer an unfiltered look into his inner life and his struggles with depression and anxiety.
Call Me Karizma grew up in Minnesota and started writing at the age of 12 and making music with a friend. He then began honing his skills as a live performer around the clubs of Minneapolis, and soon he was playing dates across the US. While at college he was invited by Mod Sun on a 35-date run that also featured Blackbear. The tour not only helped to pay his way through college but it also hugely broadened his diehard following. One of the tracks from his set, F U Til I F U, became a major success. He has since released two EPs and most recently the album, To Hell with Hollywood, and has worked as a featuring artist alongside the likes of Gabriel Black, Delaney Jane, Futuristic and International DJ, Illenium.
The uncompromisingly honest Call Me Karizma connects with his dedicated and exceptionally devoted fanbase through his own YouTube channel, and via Twitter, Instagram and his website, callmekarizma.com, through which he also offers a range of merchandise.
