About

Candyce Anne Rose Milo, known professionally as Candi Milo, was born on January 9, 1961, in Palm Springs, California. Her family later moved to San Jose, where Milo attended Presentation High School. Her early exposure to performing arts came through her father, Tony “Nino” Migliaccio, a child actor. She first performed on stage with her father at Turk Murphy’s in 1964, singing “Me and My Shadow.” By the age of eleven, Milo was actively participating in children’s musical theater. Her professional journey in entertainment began in 1977, singing in theme park attractions, notably at Disneyland in Anaheim. This led to roles in movies and television series such as “Gimme a Break!,” “Knots Landing,” and “Perfect Strangers.” She was also a member of “The Mighty Carson Art Players” on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.”

Milo transitioned into voice acting, initially through an unexpected turn after being signed by The William Morris Agency, despite her original aspirations for a singing career. Her first voice role was as Sweetie Pie in Steven Spielberg’s “Tiny Toon Adventures” in 1990. She initially auditioned for the role in 1988. Following this, she took on roles like Lonette and Bob in “Cool World” (1992). Her career in cartoons expanded significantly, including voicing Pakka in “Cro,” Ann Gora in “SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron,” and Little Red Riding Hood in “2 Stupid Dogs.” A significant career change occurred in 2001 when she replaced Christine Cavanaugh as Dexter in “Dexter’s Laboratory” and continued in the role until the series concluded. Her ability to create unique voices and imbue characters with “a full life” became a hallmark of her work.

From 2002 to 2006, Milo voiced Snap in “ChalkZone” and Dr. Nora Wakeman in “My Life as a Teenage Robot,” roles for which she received Annie Award nominations in 2004 and 2005. During this period, she also lent her voice to Ophelia Ramírez in “The Life and Times of Juniper Lee,” Maya Santos in “Maya & Miguel,” Irma Lair in “W.I.T.C.H.,” and various characters including Coco, Madame Foster, and Cheese in “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.” More recently, she started voicing Looney Tunes characters Granny and Witch Hazel in 2017, and Petunia Pig beginning in 2022, appearing in projects like “Space Jam: A New Legacy” (2021) and “The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie” (2025). Her extensive career also includes live-action performances, such as her return to the stage in 2015 playing Grandmama Addams in “The Addams Family” and Trish in “Kinky Boots” in 2020.
