The marvellous equestrian Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour is a dressage rider and entrepreneur, whose highest world ranking was No.2. She is a World Champion, and has competed at two Olympics, as well as at the World Cup and the European Championships. She also has her own company Cathrine Dressage, through which she trains young riders and educates horses, as well as developing training videos for the platform Cathrine Stream.
Born and raised in Denmark, Laudrup-Dufour started riding when she was five-years-old. She joined the Danish national dressage team when she was 12, going on to win numerous medals at the Danish and European junior and young riders championships. She went on to represent her native Denmark at two Olympics (Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020), competing in individual and team dressage events.
Laudrup-Dufour won her first medals at the 2017 European Championships, taking Silver in team dressage, and two Bronzes for special dressage and freestyle dressage. Since then she has picked up a further four European Championships medals: Bronze in 2019 for special dressage, and Silver (for freestyle dressage) and two Bronzes in 2021 (for team and special dressage); Silver at the 2022 World Cup for individual dressage; as well as Gold (for team dressage) and two Silvers (for individual special and individual freestyle dressage) at the 2022 World Championships.
