Radio personality and podcast presenter Chad Dukes was the host of the long running sports show Chad Dukes vs the World on WJFK The Fan.
Dukes career in radio started when he was attending George Mason University and worked for the college radio station, WGMU. He then landed a job working as an intern at The Sports Junkies, meeting Oscar ‘The Big O’ Santana who he created a show with. The show originally aired as a late night listing, but later replaced the lunch time show on WJFK/WHFS in Maryland. It proved hugely popular, and less than a year later Dukes was chosen to co-host the afternoon drive show on ESPN Radio. He continued to work with Santana, moving their show to the KZON and later to WJFK-FM in 2007. He was then selected as co-host for a new show with former Washington Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington, and was given his own show, Chad Dukes vs the World in 2009. He has become well known for his pithy sports analysis as well as entertaining segments and on air banter with his co-hosts. Alongside his radio career, Dukes is also known for presenting several podcasts including Weird and Pissed Off and The Pinball Shitheads.
In 2020 it was announced that Dukes will no longer be working on WJFK, meaning the presenter and host can work on his own projects and devote his time to developing his podcasts and new shows.
