One of America’s beloved TV personalities, Cheryl Burke has spent the last 20 years dancing her way into the hearts and minds of audiences around the world. Fans of Dancing With the Stars will remember spellbinding performances with prominent celebrities; Jack Osbourne, Rob Kardashian, Chris Jericho, Maurice Greene, Emmitt Smith and Drew Carey. As one of Dancing With the Stars longest running professional dancers, Burke has successfully transferred her talents into other areas of performing arts and the media.
In 2010 Burke choreographed the Paso Doble dance scene in Toy Story 3 with her co-star Tony Dovolani. She has also used her dancing talents to launch an acting career on the Disney Channel, playing the part of Shannon in The Suite Life with Zack and Cody’s second season. In addition to her talents in acting and dancing, Burke is also a talented non-fiction writer: her 2011 biography Dancing Lessons: How I Found Passion and Potential on the Dance Floor and in Life was a resounding success with both fans of dance and literature, and Burke’s follow-up book is hotly anticipated. Recently starring on the reality TV show I Can Do That alongside Nicole Scherzinger, Burke continues to shares her gift of dance with the world through her dance studio Cheryl Burke Dance, located in Mountain View, California.
