Barbie Blank has transitioned from a successful model to a renowned professional wrestler and media personality, engaging audiences across various platforms. After signing a developmental contract with WWE on May 13, 2006, Barbie Blank quickly became a prominent figure in professional wrestling, having previously established herself as a successful model for Venus Swimwear and Hawaiian Tropic. Blank underwent foundational training at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) as a ring announcer and referee before making her official debut on WWE’s ECW brand in June 2006 under the ring name ‘Kelly Kelly.’ Her initial weekly segments evolved into ‘Kelly’s Exposé’ and later, the popular trio ‘Extreme Exposé’ alongside Layla and Brooke Adams, captivating audiences with her unique persona and athleticism. Blank transitioned from a non-wrestling role to actively competing, demonstrating significant growth and versatility within WWE.

She was drafted to the prestigious WWE Raw brand in July 2008, followed by a move to the Smackdown brand in April 2010. A defining moment in her career arrived in April 2011 when, upon her return to Raw, she secured her first WWE Divas Championship after a decisive fan vote, defeating Brie Bella. This championship reign lasted an impressive 104 days before she ultimately lost the title to Beth Phoenix in October 2011. Blank continued to compete at a high level, including an appearance at WrestleMania XXVIII in 2012, where she teamed with celebrity Maria Menounos, before concluding her full-time WWE tenure in September 2012.
