Chris Turner

Christopher Peter Joseph Turner was born on September 12, 1989, in Manchester, England. He developed an interest in rapping during his teenage years. Turner pursued higher education at St Hugh’s College, Oxford, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Archeology and Anthropology. His early career saw him reach the finals of the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards in 2011, indicating initial recognition for his comedic talent. He also co-founded Racing Minds, a British improvisational troupe, which contributed to his performance experience in improv theatre.

Turner has established a significant presence in the comedy circuit, particularly at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where his shows have consistently received positive reviews and awards. His debut show, “Pretty Fly,” won the Amused Moose People’s Choice award in 2014. Subsequent shows like “XXV” (2015), “Observational Tragedy” (2016), and “What a Time to be Alive” (2017) garnered critical acclaim and awards at various festivals. His career milestones include performing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and collaborating with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.
