Christina Applegate

Christina Applegate is an American actress known for her extensive career in television and film, notably recognized for comedic and dramatic roles. After achieving significant recognition with her role as Kelly Bundy in the Fox sitcom ‘Married… with Children,’ which ran from 1987 to 1997, Christina Applegate established a diverse career across television, film, and theater. Her early work included guest roles in television series such as ‘Charles in Charge’ (1984–1985) and ‘Family Ties’ (1987).

Following her breakthrough, Applegate secured a leading role in the film ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead’ (1991) and appeared in various independent features. She further showcased her comedic talent in the titular role of the NBC sitcom ‘Jesse’ (1998–2000), for which she received her first Golden Globe Award nomination.
