Nur Anzalna Md Nasir, professionally known as Anzalna Nasir, was born on January 9, 1988, in Tasek Gelugor, Penang, Malaysia. Growing up as the second of five siblings, Anzalna’s early life was marked by extensive international travel and varied educational experiences. From 1996 to 1998, she attended primary schools such as Coronation Elementary School, Sinclair Laird Elementary School, and Bancroft Elementary School in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, while her father pursued his master’s degree at McGill University. Following her father’s studies, the family returned to Malaysia, where she continued her primary education in Muar and Melaka, and later her secondary education at SMK Munshi Abdullah and SMK Khir Johari.
In 2004, Anzalna moved to Tasmania, Australia, accompanying her father during his doctoral studies at the University of Tasmania. During her time in Australia, she attended Brooks High School in Launceston and later pursued a Diploma at Launceston College. Her international upbringing provided her with a diverse perspective that she later brought to her professional career. Anzalna’s acting career commenced in 2011, establishing her presence in the Malaysian entertainment industry.
Her career includes roles in several television series, television movies, and films. Notable television series include “Suria di Cordoba” (2011), “Jauh Dari Cinta” (2014), and “Dendam Aurora” (2017), where she appeared in 100 episodes as Putri Adrina. In film, she played Fara in “Kahwin 5” (2012) and Ayu Sofea in “Sepah The Movie” (2012). Anzalna’s work as a commercial model also complements her acting profession, contributing to her public recognition and collaborations with various brands.
